About Australian Facilities Plumbing
Australian Facilities Plumbing (AFP) is part of the Australian Facilities Group (AFG), delivering plumbing maintenance, fire protection and project services across VIC and NSW.
Our clients include government departments, universities, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities and major property portfolios. We're known for quality workmanship, professionalism and putting safety first.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for another great plumber to join the Melbourne team.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for keeping commercial facilities operating safely and efficiently by delivering high-quality maintenance plumbing and minor works.
Your day could include:
- Reactive maintenance and emergency plumbing
- Preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing water, gas, sewer, roofing and stormwater systems
- Installing and replacing plumbing fixtures
- Minor plumbing projects and upgrades
- Preparing quotes for additional works
- Working closely with clients and site representatives
- Maintaining accurate job and safety documentation
This role offers plenty of variety, autonomy and the opportunity to build strong relationships with long-term clients.
What You’ll Need
Essential
- BPC Plumbing Registration or Plumbing Licence
- Current Driver Licence
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle
- White Card
- Own hand tools
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Highly Regarded
- Backflow Prevention and TMV
- Confined Space
- Working at Heights
