We are seeking two experienced Casual Medical Receptionists to join our busy and growing private mental health practice. Previous reception or administration experience is essential, and experience within a medical or allied health setting is highly regarded.
Our practice operates across two locations surrounding Sydney CBD, providing an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team while gaining experience in the mental health sector.

About Our Practice
We are a busy private mental health practice with clinics located across two sites, Surry Hills and Ultimo. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical psychologists, mental health nurses, occupational therapists and allied health assistants who work with adolescents and adults presenting with a broad range of mental health concerns.

About the Role
This varied and fast paced role involves:
Managing busy reception areas, including welcoming clients,
answering phone calls and responding to emails
Scheduling appointments and managing clinician diaries across multiple locations
Processing payments and supporting billing procedures
Assisting clinicians with day to day administrative requirements
Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring confidentiality at all times
About You
We are looking for enthusiastic team members who are professional, compassionate and highly organised. To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous administration or reception experience (essential)
Experience in a medical, allied health or mental health setting (highly desirable)
A compassionate, empathetic and professional approach when interacting with clients
Excellent telephone and customer service skills
Strong computer literacy and confidence learning new systems
High standards of personal presentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational, time management and multitasking skills
The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy setting
A current National Criminal Record Check
A current Working With Children Check
