About the Personal Care Worker -Traineeship

- Work a minimum of3 shifts per weekin an aged care setting over12 months
- On the job learning
- Gain anationally recognised Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)through TLC Learning
- Secureongoing employment opportunitieswithin TLC Aged Care homes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care, hygiene, grooming and oral care
- Assist with meals, mobility and daily living activities
- Support lifestyle and wellbeing programs
- Monitor, document and report changes in residents’ condition
- Promote residents’ dignity, choice and independence
- Follow Aged Care Quality Standards, infection control practices and TLC policies
