The Opportunity

Six Degrees Executive is proud to partner with Cultivating Community to appoint their next Chief Executive Officer. This is a rare opportunity to lead a respected, values-driven organisation with a clear strategy, a capable Senior Management Team, and a scalable structure already in place. Your key focus will be to grow, inspire, and innovate.

Key priorities include:

- Driving growth and sustainability through creative partnerships and diversified revenue across government, corporate, and philanthropy.
- Championing the organisation’s story and purpose, strengthening its profile and influence across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Inspiring and leading a diverse team, modelling a culture of empathy, respect, and safety.
- Innovating boldly, identifying unconventional funding opportunities that align with community needs.

About You





This role will suit an experienced CEO or senior executive with deep NFP/philanthropy expertise and stakeholder influence. You will bring:

- Demonstrated success in business development, partnerships, and income diversification.
- A passion for food systems, agriculture, or sustainability
- Experience in community-based programming
- Proven senior leadership experience, with the ability to engage boards, inspire teams, and deliver strategic outcomes.
- Financial literacy, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
- An empathetic, people-first style and proven ability to lead with authenticity.
- A solid commitment to equity, inclusion, and community impact.
