Looking for work? Let me tell you a little bit about what we do.

We're Sydney Piling, a specialist piling and foundations company working predominantly around Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and beaches. We're a team of around 40 people and we're looking for good, hardworking people to join us.

If you've got piling experience, brilliant. Tell us about it because you'll go straight towards the front of the queue.

If you don't, don't worry. We're happy to train the right people from the ground up. We care more about your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn than having the perfect CV.

What kind of work could you be doing?

There are a few different areas of the company you can work in, depending on your experience, interests and what you're good at.

Hand Piling This is our more physical side and generally the easiest place to start with limited experience. You'll work in smaller, often younger crews doing digging, site preparation, basic steel fixing, concrete pumping, concreting and keeping the site clean and organised. It's hard work, but it's a great place to learn the fundamentals of construction and piling.

Machine Piling This is faster-paced and involves working in and around piling rigs, excavators, concrete pumps and other plant and equipment. There's more machinery knowledge to learn, along with stronger health and safety procedures and working around higher-risk equipment. For people interested in machinery, there is a genuine pathway towards becoming an operator yourself.

Formwork & Concrete This is more carpentry and construction focused. You'll learn things like set-out, formwork, steel fixing, concrete pumping and concreting. If you're good with your hands and enjoy building things properly,



there's a lot to learn here and plenty of room to develop specialist skills.

Logistics & Yard We also need people helping keep everything moving behind the scenes. That can mean preparing and loading plant and equipment, delivering tools and materials between sites, helping organise the yard and making sure our crews have what they need to keep working.

Where can it lead?

You don't have to know where you want to end up when you start.

You might begin as a general labourer and simply want reliable full-time work. Or you might find something you're good at and decide to take it further.

There are pathways towards becoming a piling or plant operator, leading hand, supervisor, formwork carpenter, steel fixer or other skilled positions within the company. As you develop, you can take on more responsibility, learn to run crews and sites and move into leadership positions.

We'll provide the training and guidance. You bring the work ethic and willingness to learn.

What's it like working here?

We're a tight-knit team and we want to keep it that way as we grow. Our crews are generally small, people know each other and there's a good social side to the company with footy, paddle, training, beers and BBQs.

You'll get full-time work, valuable tools and equipment, weekly pay that's on time every week, training and genuine opportunities to progress.

You don't need loads of experience, but you do need to turn up, work hard, be respectful, listen, learn and get along with the people around you.

We'll take a good person with limited experience over an experienced person with a sh*t attitude every time.
