Anisimoff Legal is a boutique commercial practice that is an industry leader in advertising, marketing, media and intellectual property (including trade marks) law. The firm’s clients include many high‑profile advertising and marketing agencies, media companies and household brand names in Australia, providing a stream of very interesting, topical and unique work.

The Opportunity

We’re expanding our workplace and employment law practice and seeking a senior lawyer (NSW or VIC) with 6+ years PQE and strong experience in employment law, compliance, workplace relations, and corporate/commercial matters. Leadership experience is a plus.

This is a unique opportunity for a candidate who is eager to take ownership of their own career, lead and drive a growing practice area in a well‑established firm with a constant flow of work from a deep and loyal client roster.

The Role

This is a full‑time senior workplace / employment law position based in either our North Sydney or Melbourne CBD office. We are looking for a Senior practitioner with 6+ years PQE, ideally with experience leading a workplace practice.

On a day‑to‑day basis our new team member will manage and lead this practice area of the business under our Sydney and Melbourne Principal Partners, with direct client exposure and the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of legal matters across the firm, beyond workplace / employment.

About You

The right candidate will be commercially minded, self‑driven, with strong experience in employment law, and also in commercial and corporate law generally, and an interest in the media/advertising industries.



They will be willing to contribute to the firm’s unique culture, and keen to operate in a flat hierarchical structure that has an emphasis on client contact and relationship development. Our lawyers have growth mindsets and a commitment to excellence and continued development.

- Foster client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Mentor junior staff as the practice grows.
