- Prior experience: Application/data migration to cloud (both Linux and Windows)
- Application/data refactor to cloud (both Linux and Windows)
- Defining and building patterns to consume AWS via IaC (CloudFormation preferred)
- Extensive hands-on with AWS across core services
- Defining and implementing complete lifecycle of AWS services consumed by end-users of internal cloud platform
- Defining and implementing deployment methodologies for applications moving to cloud
- Be familiar with: CI/CD principles
- Unit testing
- Integration testing
- Security controls
- Building highly-available and resilient apps on AWS
- Coding: Python, Bash, Powershell
- Git version control
- Good soft skills

Responsibilities

- Align with and contribute to design patterns, UI kits and guidelines.
- Work within agile delivery teams, using continuous design practices to test, measure and learn
- Facilitate the design process and workshops by engaging relevant team members and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved in terms of solution, timelines and issues
- Participate in team rituals, practices and workshops
- Maintain a strong understanding of backend systems and how they will impact design by working closely with development teams to ensure that customer journeys, interactions and UI in both design and build phases
- Ability to multitask and manage more than one project simultaneously in an agile and fast paced environment
- Communicate with team members to ensure all stakeholders are informed of design solutions, timelines and blockers




- With support from senior team members, regularly upskill the latest innovations, design processes, methodologies, technology, trends, and practices particularly in mobile, responsive web design, applications and rapid prototyping
- Be open to receive guidance and mentorship from senior members of the team
- Communicate with team members to ensure all stakeholders are informed of design solutions, timelines and blockers
- Knowledge & Experience Requirements

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Strong technical abilities with a range of design and tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch/Figma)
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and produce quality outcomes
- Ability to be pragmatic, design around constraints and adapt to changing requirements
- Experience with working with cross functional teams including, UX/UI designers, Product owners, Iteration managers, Copy writers, Engineers and Delivery managers
- Strong visual design and illustration skills with a passion for straightforward, elegant and innovative design
- Experience in designing for mobile and desktop including responsive and adaptive web design
- Hands-on experience in digital design, particularly in visual design, UI design and prototyping
- Be responsible for the overall quality of personal design deliverables
- Ability to deliver a consistently branded customer experience through diverse digital environments
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Creative, flexible and energetic
- Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organisation
- Previous experience working in an Agile environment desirable, but not essential.
