The Position: The objective of this position is to plan, organise and coordinate the day-to-day accommodation and hospitality operations of the business. The position is responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high standards of guest service and satisfaction, supervising staff, managing accommodation services and supporting the overall operational and financial performance of the establishment. Qualifications/experience:

- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Management or a relevant field; or
- At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
- Relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may also be required.
- Previous experience in accommodation, hotel or hospitality operations is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in staff supervision, guest services and day-to-day hospitality operations.

Responsible for: The efficient management and coordination of accommodation and hospitality operations, including guest services, reservations, staffing, housekeeping coordination, facilities, operational procedures, customer service and administrative activities. Job Descriptions:

- Planning, organising and coordinating the day-to-day accommodation and hospitality operations of the establishment.
- Managing guest accommodation services, including reservations, arrivals, departures, room allocations and special guest requirements.
- Supervising front-of-house, accommodation and other hospitality staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Recruiting, training, supervising and supporting staff and assisting with the preparation of staff rosters according to operational requirements.




- Monitoring staff performance and providing guidance and training to maintain appropriate customer service and workplace standards.
- Establishing and implementing operational procedures to improve efficiency and maintain consistent service standards.
- Ensuring guests receive professional and responsive service throughout their stay and addressing requests or concerns promptly.
- Handling escalated guest enquiries, complaints and service issues and implementing appropriate resolutions.
- Monitoring bookings, occupancy levels and accommodation availability and coordinating operational resources accordingly.
- Liaising with guests regarding reservations, group bookings, accommodation requirements and special requests.
- Coordinating housekeeping, maintenance and other operational activities to ensure guest rooms and common areas are maintained to appropriate standards.
- Conducting regular inspections of accommodation facilities and identifying maintenance, cleanliness, safety or presentation issues requiring attention.
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers and service providers regarding maintenance, supplies and other operational requirements.
- Monitoring stock levels and arranging the purchase of operational supplies, guest amenities and other required materials.
- Assisting with the preparation and monitoring of operational budgets, expenditure and other business costs.
- Reviewing operating expenses and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs without compromising service standards.
- Maintaining accurate records relating to reservations, occupancy, guest services, operational expenditure and other relevant business activities.
- Monitoring guest feedback and implementing improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and the overall guest experience.




- Coordinating with other areas of the business to ensure accommodation and hospitality services operate effectively.
- Ensuring staff comply with workplace policies, procedures and expected standards of professional conduct.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable work health and safety requirements, emergency procedures and relevant regulatory obligations.
- Reporting operational performance, staffing matters, guest issues and other significant matters to senior management or the business owners.
- Assisting management with the development and implementation of strategies to improve occupancy, service quality and overall business performance.

- Strong knowledge of accommodation and hospitality operations.

- Strong organisational, planning and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage reservations, occupancy and accommodation operations effectively.
- Ability to resolve guest complaints and operational issues professionally.
- Sound understanding of budgeting, expenditure monitoring and cost control.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate housekeeping, maintenance and other operational functions.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Sound computer and administrative skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and relevant hospitality industry standards.

Requirements:

- Ability to work a minimum of 38 hours per week and additional reasonable hours where required.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and public holidays where required by business operations.
- Maintain a professional standard of presentation and conduct.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guests, employees and business information.
- Hold and maintain any licences, registrations or certifications required for the position, where applicable.

Remuneration: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 + Super
