We are looking for an experienced Sous chef to join our team.
About the Role:
- Cooking and preparing high quality meals
- Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
- Assisting the Head Chef in stock ordering to ensure inventory is maintained
- Assisting the Head Chef to create recent menu items, recipes and develop dishes
- Supervise and provide training to our kitchen staff
- Ensure communication between the kitchen team is effective
- Ensure staff are following safe work practices at all times
- Maintain a high standard of food safety guidelines
About You:
- Certificate 1V in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- 2+ years proven experience in the same role
- Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
