Position Overview

Adamstown Bowling Club is a vibrant and dynamic community-based bowling club dedicated to providing exceptional service and fostering a welcoming environment. Our passionate team aim to deliver memorable experiences for our members and guests.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Duty Manager. As the Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our club, maintaining high standards of customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bowling club, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage the front-of-house team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
- Coordinate bookings, reservations, and inquiries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling all customer interactions.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the facilities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Handle cash management,



including till reconciliation and gaming machine clearances.
- Act as a point of contact for members, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving club operations and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or leisure industry is preferred.
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office, Sharepoint and SENPOS point of Sale.
- Hold a current RSA and RCG competency card.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Australian citizenship is required for this position.
