About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Treatment Room Team Leader to join our busy medical centre during a period of growth and transformation.

Combining hands-on clinical care with team leadership, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of the treatment room while supporting our healthcare practitioners and nursing team. You’ll conduct health assessments, immunisations and other clinical procedures while partnering with the Practice Manager on rostering, recruitment and team performance.

This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse who enjoys variety, teamwork and delivering high-quality patient care within an evolving healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the efficient day-to-day operation of the treatment room.
- Support healthcare practitioners in delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
- Perform clinical duties, including pathology collection, vaccinations, ECG monitoring and wound care.
- Triage patients and assist healthcare practitioners with procedures and treatments.
- Build trusted relationships with patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their care.
- Support the Practice Manager with rostering, recruitment and staff performance.




- Coach and support treatment room staff to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised clinical environment.
- Lead by example and ensure Standard Operating Procedures are understood and followed.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience in general practice, primary healthcare or an acute clinical setting.
- Previous team leadership experience, or the potential and motivation to step into a leadership position.
- A genuine passion for healthcare and improving outcomes within the local community.
- Strong clinical, organisational and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The confidence to take initiative and work independently when required.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights.
- The ability to provide evidence of your vaccination history and immunity.
