The role:

As a Women's Buyer at City Beach, you’ll play a key role in shaping our product offering and bringing the latest trends to our customers within the Women's buying team. Your day will be agile, collaborative, and full of opportunities to influence what lands in our stores and online.

What you’ll be doing:

Source and select products from both local and international suppliers, ensuring we’re always delivering fresh, on-trend ranges.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular communication and travel, driving the best outcomes for quality, price, and speed to market.

Collaborate with our Product Development Team to create and launch new products that reflect current fashion trends and customer demand.

Analyse product performance to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions that optimise sales, profit, and stock efficiency.

Review department and store performance, monitoring sell-through and market trends to support weekly and seasonal planning.

Manage purchase orders, including reviewing confirmations, tracking changes, and ensuring accuracy from order placement through to delivery.

Monitor cancellations, delays,



and delivery updates to support smooth end-to-end product flow.

Mentor and develop Assistant Buyers, helping shape the next generation of merchandise talent and future leaders within the business.

What we’re looking for?

Proven experience in retail fashion buying with an understanding of the full buying cycle.

Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and turn insights into action.

Deep knowledge of current trends and customer preferences.

Strong capability across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence engaging stakeholders internally and externally.

A relevant tertiary qualification is highly regarded but not essential.
