Miss Bianca’s Tutoring is growing, and we are looking for passionate, reliable and engaging tutors to join our supportive team in Miranda.

You do not need to be confident teaching every year level or subject. We carefully match tutors with students based on their knowledge, experience, strengths and interests.

About Miss Bianca’s Tutoring

We provide personalised, one-to-one tutoring for students from Kindergarten to Year 12, including HSC and IB subjects.

Our approach extends beyond simply helping students complete their homework. We create individualised learning experiences that help students strengthen their foundational skills, prepare for assessments, overcome challenges and become more confident, independent learners.

Our tutoring studios offer a welcoming and engaging environment where students feel supported, understood and encouraged to achieve their personal best.

Subjects we are recruiting for

We welcome applications from tutors across all subjects and year levels, with a particular interest in applicants confident teaching:

- Primary English and Mathematics
- Secondary English
- Secondary Mathematics –immediate opportunities available
- Science
- HSC subjects
- International Baccalaureate subjects

Key Responsibilities

As a tutor, you will:

- Deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one tutoring sessions
- Adapt activities and explanations to suit each student’s learning needs
- Help students develop their subject knowledge, confidence and study skills
- Support students with schoolwork, assessments, examinations and individual learning goals
- Build positive and professional relationships with students and families
- Maintain brief and accurate session notes
- Participate in training, mentoring and professional development
- Work collaboratively with our team to support each student’s progress

Skill & Experience

Our ideal tutors are:

- Passionate about helping students learn and grow
- Warm, patient and confident communicators
- Reliable, organised and professional
- Able to build positive relationships with children and young people
- Willing to adapt their approach to meet individual learning needs
- Open to feedback, mentoring and continued professional development
- Currently completing or have completed tertiary studies

Teaching, education support or subject-specific qualifications are highly regarded but are not essential. Previous tutoring or teaching experience is also welcomed; however, training and ongoing support are provided.

Applicants must hold, or be willing and eligible to obtain, a valid NSW Working with Children Check.
