Client Description

Role Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and continually improve the company’s HSEQ management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company policies
- Lead site safety meetings, pre-starts, toolbox talks, and deliver training on safety procedures and awareness
- Investigate incidents, hazards, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and implementing corrective actions
- Support project teams in developing and maintaining site-specific HSEQ documentation including SWMS, JSA, and risk registers
- Manage environmental compliance including waste, noise, dust, and erosion control, ensuring minimal environmental impact
- Maintain accurate safety records,
training registers, inductions, and HSEQ reporting for management and clients
- Foster a proactive safety culture by mentoring site teams and subcontractors on best practice and continuous improvement
Role Requirements
- Cert IV or Diploma in WHS (or equivalent qualification)
- 3-5+ years’ experience in an HSE or HSEQ Advisor role within the commercial construction sector
- In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and Australian Standards
- Proven experience conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments on live construction projects
- Strong understanding of ISO management systems and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage all levels of staff and subcontractors
- ICAM or equivalent investigation training highly regarded
- Construction White Card and current driver’s licence essential
