We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to build intuitive and high‑performance web applications that power quantum control and measurement software. You will work closely with engineers and scientists to create tools that enable seamless interaction with complex systems and data.
Job Responsibilities
- Build interactive web applications for quantum control and measurement software.
- Create useful web apps for our Engineers to interface and manipulate their systems and data.
- Build data management and visualization systems for company users.
- Integrate with backend APIs in a real‑time manner.
Job Requirements
- Experienced with web components (e.g., Lit) and standards‑based web development.
- Some knowledge of data visualization approaches and libraries.
- Proficient with build tools (Vite, esbuild, or similar).
- Experienced with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Comfortable working with scientific/technical data and visualizations.
- Advocate for lean, minimalistic code that is “complex enough to do the job, but no more.”
Nice to Have
- Experience with scientific computing or laboratory software interfaces.
- Python for backend integration and scripting.
- Experience with visualization libraries and/or raytracing.
- Experience building progressive web applications (PWAs).
- Understanding quantum computing concepts or a physics background.
- Experience with time‑series data visualization.
- Contributions to open‑source visualization or scientific software projects.
- Experience with WASM integration in web applications.
