As a Bid Coordinator, you will take ownership of preparing compelling submissions that highlight the studio’s creative excellence and secure exciting new opportunities. This contract role offers a unique chance to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team committed to design excellence and professional growth.
This is an 8 - 9 month maternity leave contract to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination, development, and submission of expressions of interest, tenders, and capability statements, ensuring they uphold the studio’s high standards and brand identity.
- Work closely with project leaders, architects, and marketing professionals to craft engaging content that effectively showcases project strengths and aligns with client expectations.
- Manage submission timelines and workflows, coordinating stakeholder input to meet all deadlines with rigor and precision.
- Maintain and update bid libraries, project databases, and marketing collateral, ensuring ready access and maximum efficiency for ongoing submissions.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials, interview kits, and other business development documents that position the practice with confidence and clarity.
- Ensure all submissions are polished, consistent, and professionally presented, reflecting the studio’s reputation for excellence in communication and design.
- Support broader marketing and business development initiatives, contributing to the studio’s growth and reputation within the industry.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a Bid Coordinator, Submissions Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, or similar role within architecture, engineering, construction, or professional services.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to produce visually compelling documents aligned with brand standards.
- Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading skills to craft clear, persuasive content.
- Outstanding attention to detail and organisation, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines effectively.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
- Robust stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to liaise across multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Proactive, well-organised and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
