ROTI CHAI is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team in St Lucia, QLD. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to lead our operations and deliver exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests. As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant's daily operations, ensuring outstanding service standards, and creating a welcoming environment where both staff and customers thrive. This role is pivotal to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry and directly contributes to the success and profitability of our establishment.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management
- Manage and supervise restaurant staff, including recruitment, training, performance management and schedule coordination
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service and maintain exceptional dining standards at all times
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation and portion control to uphold brand standards
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction
- Manage financial performance including budgeting, cost control, pricing strategies and revenue optimisation
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards and licensing requirements
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Implement and promote restaurant policies,



procedures and company values across all operations
- Track performance metrics, analyse data and report on key operational indicators to senior management

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality operations, ideally within a full-service dining establishment
- Robust leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across all levels of staff and clientele
- Sound knowledge of food service operations, health and safety regulations and best practice hospitality standards
- Proficiency with restaurant management systems, point-of-sale (POS) software and general computer literacy
- Demonstrated financial acumen including budget management, cost control and revenue generation
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive dining experiences
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required in a restaurant environment
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality management,



food safety certification or equivalent industry experience are advantageous
