Our client is a well-established leader in embellishment and print finishing located in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. Due to business growth, they need additional machine operators.In particular, they currently require a full time Zund operator to join their established team. The preference is for the successful applicant to work PM shift (2pm - 10pm) Training will initially be on the AM shift (6am - 2pm) for approximately 4-8 weeks.
The role can be offered as permanent full-time or casual.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the Zund table Cutters
- Ensuring jobs are cut in accordance with job instructions
- Ensuring finishing/cutting is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Performing regular machine maintenance
- Working as part of a team and assisting in other areas as required.
The successful applicant will need to have/be:
- Demonstrated experience in operating Table Cutting machinery (but training provided to the right applicant)
- A high level of attention to detail
- A sound work ethic
- Be mechanically minded
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- have good basic literacy and numeracy skills.
