Citadines on Bourke Melbourne,managed by The Ascott Limited,now seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join as Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will be part of a tight-knit, supportive team.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Supervising the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property, ensuring all systems, facilities and assets are maintained to Ascott’s operational and brand standards.
Conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance and compliance checks to support a safe, productive and well-presented environment for guests and team members.
Coordinating repairs, maintenance contractors and purchase orders, including obtaining quotations and monitoring expenditure in line with departmental budgets.
Supporting energy management, quality assurance and asset protection initiatives to improve operational efficiency and maximise property performance.
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, fire safety, security and environmental requirements, while responding to maintenance issues and emergency breakdowns as required.
To be successful in this role you must have:
Previous experience in a maintenance,
engineering or facilities management role, preferably within hospitality, accommodation or a similar environment.
Strong knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance programs, workplace health and safety requirements and essential services compliance.
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to maintenance issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to work independently, lead a team and demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.
