Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain piling rig equipment in a secure and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
- Set up and position piling rigs on construction sites, considering factors such as ground conditions, safety, and project requirements.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections of the piling rig, ensuring proper functionality and addressing any maintenance or repair needs.
- Perform pile driving operations, including driving piles into the ground using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Collaborate with project engineers and site supervisors to interpret construction plans and ensure accurate implementation of piling activities.
- Monitor the progress of piling operations, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of piling activities, including daily reports, equipment logs,



and safety documentation.
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of piling rigs and associated equipment.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project specifications during piling operations.
- Promote a culture of safety by actively identifying and addressing potential hazards and participating in safety meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

- Technical certifications or vocational training in operating piling rigs.
- Proven experience as a Piling Rig Operator, with a strong understanding of piling rig operations and equipment.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of rigs, including knowledge of different piling techniques and tools/equipment.
- Familiarity with construction plans, drawings, and specifications related to piling operations.
- Commitment to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring the well-being of self and team members.
- Valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to different job sites as required.
