About the role
As a Water Network Operator within Council’s Water and Sewer Team, you’ll undertake varied, hands‑on work across the operation, maintenance and construction of our water supply and sewerage systems. Tasks include maintaining pipes, meters and services, clearing sewer chokes, and supporting infrastructure upgrades. You’ll work with a range of plant and equipment in a skilled,
supportive team to help provide safe, reliable services to the community.

- Permanent full-time, 38 hours per week with a 9‑day fortnight
- Weekly salary of $1,274.83 – $1,389.56 plus allowances and superannuation

About you
You’re reliable, safety‑minded and enjoy working outdoors as part of a team. You bring, or are willing to obtain:
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Confined Space Certificate
- Roads and Maritime Services Traffic Control Qualifications
- Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or similar
