The Position:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join a well-established professional services organisation based in Perth CBD on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Working as part of a supportive finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounts payable activities, alongside supporting the organisation's fortnightly payroll function. This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys a varied role, is highly organised and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely work.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing within a high-volume environment;
- Invoice processing, coding and supplier reconciliations;
- Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong internal relationships;
- Processing supplier payments and credit card transactions;
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and general finance administration;
- Supporting the wider finance team with billing and month-end requirements;
- Fortnightly payroll processing and associated administration;
- Processing timesheets, deductions and superannuation;




- Responding to payroll-related queries;
- Providing general finance support and assisting with ad hoc tasks as required.

Skills and Experience:

- 5+ years' experience in a similar finance position;
- Solid Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment;
- Previous payroll processing experience highly regarded;
- Experience within professional services is advantageous but not essential;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships;
- Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute effectively within a team.
