As a key member of the Financial Control team, you will support the delivery of end-to-end financial control for Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services business, with a focus on Personal Banking.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will lead a team of finance professionals and take responsibility for managing business balance sheet and profit and loss activities, including General Ledger close processes. You will ensure financial accuracy, apply key controls and judgements, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. You will use your robust technical accounting ability to provide accounting support and advice for new products, deals and restructures, and work on a variety of ad hoc projects.



You will also implement and monitor the financial control framework and drive process improvements and automation to build a scalable finance function that supports our Banking and Financial Services strategy.

What you offer

- Strong technical accounting expertise and/or experience working in large, operationally complex environments
