We are seeking a leading hand that is skilled and experienced in Tyre Fitting preferably with Wheel Alignment skills or willing to learn. This is a full-time position based in North Rockhampton, QLD 4701. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting tyres, performing wheel alignments (training can be provided), and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work with modern equipment and tools to ensure vehicles are safely maintained and meet industry standards. This position is integral to our operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

What you'll be doing

- Fitting and balancing tyres on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and commercial vehicles
- Performing wheel alignment checks and adjustments using precision equipment
- Inspecting tyres and wheels for damage or wear and advising customers on replacement or repair options
- Operating and maintaining tyre fitting and wheel alignment machinery in accordance with safety standards
- Recording and documenting all work completed and vehicle information accurately
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating clearly with customers about their vehicle maintenance needs
- Ensuring the workshop remains clean, organised and safe at all times
- Assisting with stock management and ordering of tyres and related components
- Adhering to all workplace health and safety procedures and regulations

What we're looking for

- Ability to work as a team member organise and lead when necessary.
- Current or recent experience as a tyre fitter and wheel aligner in an automotive workshop or similar environment
- Sound knowledge of tyre specifications,



vehicle safety requirements and industry best practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to move vehicles as required
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive trades (advantageous)
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- A reliable and skilled approach to work with a positive attitude
