AV / Technology Project Manager | Brisbane

A specialist technology business is looking for an experienced AV / Technology Project Manager to join its Brisbane team and take ownership of a range of high-profile commercial technology deployments.

This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager who understands that successful technology projects are about far more than getting equipment delivered and installed. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the people, contractors, suppliers, logistics and technical requirements that bring complex technology deployments together.

The business operates across digital signage, commercial AV and technology infrastructure, delivering projects for some of Australia's largest and most recognizable organisations. Projects can involve everything from individual sites through to large-scale multi-site deployments, with a strong focus on quality, consistency and getting the technology operational from day one.

The Role

You’ll take projects from initial planning through to installation, commissioning and final handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing end-to-end AV and technology deployment projects
- Coordinating internal teams, clients, suppliers, installers and contractors
- Managing project schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables
- Coordinating equipment procurement, staging, logistics and delivery
- Working closely with construction teams, builders, shopfitters, electricians and cabling contractors
- Managing site readiness and installation requirements
- Identifying and resolving project risks before they become costly problems
- Maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely,



professionally and to specification
- Managing documentation, project reporting and final handover

The environment is particularly suited to someone who enjoys structured project delivery and technical problem solving, rather than sitting behind a desk managing spreadsheets all day.

What We're Looking For

You’ll ideally come from an AV, digital signage, ICT, electrical, construction technology or systems integration background and have proven experience managing technology projects.

We're looking for someone who can confidently deal with both the technical and commercial sides of a project - someone who understands what is happening on site, can speak with technicians and contractors, but can also manage clients, budgets, timelines and project expectations.

You don't necessarily need to be a technical engineer. What's more key is that you understand technology deployments, construction environments and the moving parts required to deliver a successful project.

Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills are essential.
