The prospect has become available to take on a key role with a successful, well-established Insurance Building company. JP Flynn Builders performs repair building work on homes on behalf of many of Australia's largest insurance companies and is well-respected in the industry. The company has a proud history spanning almost 40 years and now offers the chance for a Construction Supervisor/Estimator to join the team, based in North Eastern Victoria.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will assess, scope and quote insurance repair jobs. When jobs are allocated, you will then schedule, coordinate and lead teams of trades to deliver repairs. You will build strong rapport with local trades and also with the insured, working towards positive outcomes for all parties.
You will also liaise with the company’s office staff and management team to ensure there is clear communication and all stakeholders are kept well-informed.
What you bring:
- Supervising and Estimating experience gained in the insurance building /residential construction sector
- Great communication and a self-driven mindset
- Customer service and people skills
- Ability to work with a variety of people and deliver quality work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Prime a bonus)
