Relationship & Account Manager - Commercial property and development finance

Due to growth, an opportunity has opened with an established entrepreneurial non-bank property and development finance business, well known in Qld and other states.

The business provides business-purpose property and construction lending solutions for borrowers who need speed, flexibility and commercial assessment outside traditional bank requirements. It has a clear market position, a practical lending appetite and a platform that can move quickly when the opportunity fits.

This is a newly created role with scope to make it your own. Working closely with the Director, you’ll become a key relationship point for brokers and clients, managing inbound enquiries and keeping transactions moving from application through to settlement, before nurturing and growing those relationships into the future.

What you’ll be doing

- Building and managing strong broker and client relationships
- Managing incoming lending enquiries and applications end to end
- Driving documentation, communication and follow-up
- Keeping multiple transactions progressing through to settlement




- Building and maintaining a robust broker network and recurring referral base
- Working directly with decision-makers in a lean, commercial environment

About you

Your background could be across relationship or account management, in lending support, mortgage or finance broking, commercial or business banking.You’ll understand basic lending fundamentals, be highly organised and know how to keep deals moving through persistent follow up. Just as importantly, you’ll be proactive, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership without layers of corporate process. You must have unrestricted working rights in Australia to apply. As part of the recruitment process, reference checks will be conducted, with two recent references from direct line managers being mandatory.
