This is a workshop-based role offering consistent hours and plenty of overtime and ongoing work for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate structural steel components from shop drawings
- Operate overhead crane and hoists for lifting materials
- Perform high-quality MIG welding
- Assemble fabricated components to specification
- Measure, mark out and prepare materials
- Conduct quality inspections throughout fabrication
- Operate workshop machinery and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines
Skills & Experience
- Strong fabrication and MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Experience working with structural steel or heavy fabrication
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable with a positive attitude and robust work ethic

Requirements
