This is a full time fixed term contract for the period Monday 31 August 2026 to Friday 6 August 2027 (11-months) to support an extended leave of absence within the Finance Team.
The successful candidate will be required to work on-site, Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm including during school vacation periods.

The Senior Finance Officer (Receivables) is responsible for the effective management of the College's accounts receivable function, ensuring the accurate and timely invoicing, collection, reconciliation, and reporting of student fees and other debtor accounts. The role supports the financial sustainability of the College through proactive debt management, solid customer service, and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
Working collaboratively with families, staff, and external stakeholders, you will provide high-quality financial administration, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement of receivables processes.
The Senior Finance Officer (Receivables) also provides guidance to stakeholders in delivering efficient and professional financial services across the College.
Candidates must address the following selection criteriaas part of their application.
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable, debtor management, billing, reconciliations and financial administration.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately process high-volume financial transactions, maintain financial records, perform reconciliations, and ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and accounting standards.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive, respectful and professional relationships with parents, caregivers, staff and external stakeholders, while managing sensitive financial matters with empathy, discretion and confidentiality.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly, manage fee enquiries, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve account issues constructively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to generate reports, analyse data and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Candidates who have worked with an education-related finance system (i.e. TASS) wand/or administering school fee accounts and payment plays will be considered favorably .
