National Business Manager – Milk(Independent Grocery)

The Role

Bega Group have an exciting leadership opportunity to manage thedirect milkbusiness across theindependent grocery channel, driving sustainable growth and mutually beneficial commercial outcomes. Reporting to our Head of Independent Grocery, you will lead customer growth plans, strengthen strategic partnerships, oversee key commercial initiatives, and deliver strong P&L; performance across a significant portfolio. This role combines commercial leadership, customer engagement, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to unlock growth opportunities and enhance category performance.

Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-endIndependent Grocery milkportfolio, delivering strong commercial results and accountability for a significant customer P&L.;
- Lead range reviews, promotional programs, customer planning activities, and regular business performance updates.
- Develop compelling category and account growth plans that create value for both Bega and our independent retail partners.
- Build and execute joint business plans while influencing cross-category growth opportunities with key stakeholders.
- Inspire, coach and lead team members to achieve growth targets and deliver high performance.

About You

- Significant sales and account management experience with a proven record of success in the grocery environment
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess business performance and identify profitable growth opportunities
- Highly developed communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, with a passion for coaching, engagement and developing high-performing teams
- Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline,



with experience managing customer P&Ls; and business planning
