Service Technician – Premier Outdoor Power Equipment (Morisset)

Are you a hands-on small-engine mechanic who also enjoys dealing with customers? We’re expanding our workshop team and looking for a practical, results-driven Service Technician to join our store in Morisset.

About the Role

You’ll be one of the go-to people for diagnosing, repairing and servicing outdoor power equipment, while also supporting customers on the sales floor when needed. This is a genuine dual-role position in a busy dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair and service ride-on mowers, walk-behind mowers, zero-turns, chainsaws, brushcutters, generators, blowers and other outdoor power equipment
- Work across major brands including John Deere, Honda, Stihl, Toro, Cub Cadet, Ferris, Rover, Masport and Victa
- Carry out routine servicing, warranty work and full mechanical repairs on both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines
- Assist customers with product recommendations and basic sales when required
- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean,



safe workshop and follow all WHS procedures

What We’re Looking For

- Proven mechanical experience with small engines or outdoor power equipment (automotive background considered if you have strong small-engine knowledge)
- Comfortable talking to customers and explaining technical issues in plain language
- Experience with POS systems and basic computer skills
- Genuine interest in outdoor power equipment and a willingness to keep learning
- Reliable, practical and able to work both independently and as part of a team
