We're partnering with a globally recognised consumer retail brand seeking an experienced Store Leader to oversee a high-traffic Melbourne retail location. This is an exciting opportunity to join an cutting-edge international business known for premium products, exceptional customer experiences and strong investment in its people.

Reporting to the Retail Manager, you'll take full accountability for store performance while building a positive and engaged team culture. This is not a role for someone who prefers to manage from the sidelines. We're looking for a leader who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, support the team on the floor and lead by example every day.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead and develop a team of retail professionals
- Drive sales performance and customer experience outcomes
- Manage store rosters, leave requests and workforce planning
- Coach and manage employee performance
- Communicate store targets, results and priorities with the team
- Monitor key performance metrics and take action where required
- Ensure merchandising, ticketing, promotional and operational standards are maintained
- Maintain accountability for inventory, compliance and store presentation
- Create a positive team culture built on accountability and collaboration




- Support customers on the sales floor through product demonstrations and sales conversations when required

About You

- To be successful, you'll likely bring:
- Previous Store Manager experience within a retail environment
- Demonstrated experience managing underperformance and coaching team members to improve results
- A track record of achieving sales and operational targets
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A hands on leadership style and genuine passion for customer service
- The ability to balance team engagement with accountability and performance expectations
- Experience within consumer electronics, technology retail or other customer focused retail environments will be highly regarded. Exposure to a global retail brand will also be advantageous.
