Commercial Director – AU & APAC

Are you a commercially astute leader with a proven track record in driving growth, optimising operations, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes? We’re seeking a Commercial Director to lead the next stage of growth for a market‑leading organisation.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will oversee commercial, marketing, and customer service functions to grow revenue streams while maintaining the organisation’s high standards of service and customer experience. You will own your P&L; and set the strategic direction for your teams, driving performance, innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business growth initiatives, performance management, and workforce development across commercial, marketing, and customer service teams
- Build and strengthen strategic B2B partnerships and stakeholder relationships
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial management with full P&L; accountability
- Ensure compliance with post-market surveillance and product regulations (e.g., NDIS/TGA)
- Embed a high‑performance culture that balances growth with exceptional service quality
- Execute strategic marketing campaigns across multiple channels (B2B, B2C, digital, and in‑person)
- Present sensitive and complex information confidently to directors, private equity stakeholders, partners, and team members
- Drive data‑informed decision‑making while being agile and responsive to evolving business priorities
- Champion customer after‑care and long‑term engagement

To Succeed, You Will Have

- Proven experience managing a business through growth, including sales strategy, initiatives, and process optimisation
- Expertise in customer journey and experience mapping across multiple audiences
- Strong commercial, financial, and P&L; management skills
- Experience in strategic marketing and brand management
- Collaborative leadership style, capable of motivating and developing a team of 5+ direct reports
- Exceptional communication skills, able to adapt messaging for directors, partners, and operational teams
- Data‑driven and analytical approach, comfortable diving deep into metrics to inform strategy
- Agility to pivot and evolve as business needs and market conditions change
- Passion for purpose‑driven work and improving customer outcomes
