Overview
This role focuses on back-end development for AWS Connect solutions, with emphasis on Java, web services, and microservices. The candidate should have experience with AWS, RESTful APIs, modern web applications, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development (APIs, web services, web applications, apps, etc.)
- Experience in either Amazon Connect or Amazon Lex is required, with Java and Web Services or Microservices
- Experience with AWS Connect solution design and implementation, and continuous improvement/maintenance
- Experience with RESTful API strategy, development and management
- Strong knowledge of AWS
- Understanding of modern web applications and SPAs
- Familiar with leading technologies enabling DevOps (CI/CD)
- Broad experience with Java
- Familiar with managing workloads in Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of branching strategies and Git
- Strong knowledge of code analysis tools like Checkstyle, PMD, SpotBugs
- Familiar with SCA tools like dependency checks
- Familiar with Bash scripting
- Extensive experience with Microservices concepts (authentication/authorization, logging, correlation, observability and tracing)
- Ability to support and monitor APIs/software deployed to production
- Ability to deliver complex technology programs in agile environments
