Dynamo Electrical & Maintenance Pty Ltd – Yagoona NSW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Contractor to join the team at Dynamo Electrical & Maintenance Pty Ltd. This is a full-time position based in Yagoona, NSW. As an Electrical Contractor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical services to our diverse client base across residential, commercial and industrial projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on varied and challenging projects whilst maintaining our reputation for excellence and safety in all electrical installations, maintenance and repair work.

Key responsibilities

- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with Australian electrical standards and regulations
- Read and interpret electrical plans, technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance
- Conduct thorough electrical inspections and diagnostics to identify faults, safety hazards and areas for improvement
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance
- Test electrical systems and equipment using specialised tools and equipment to verify functionality and safety compliance
- Liaise with clients, project managers and other trades to coordinate work schedules and resolve on‑site issues
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on each project
- Ensure all work sites are kept clean, safe and compliant with health and safety requirements
- Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients regarding electrical solutions and upgrades

What we're looking for





- Current electrical licence or equivalent qualification recognised in NSW, demonstrating your competency as an electrician
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between job sites and all around Sydney
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards and safety regulations, including but not limited to AS3000, NCC2022 and relevant Work Health and Safety requirements
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical plans and technical documentation
- Competency with a range of electrical tools, testing equipment and measurement devices
- Sound understanding of electrical theory, circuit design and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
- A commitment to health and safety practices and a proven track record of working incident‑free
- Willingness to undertake continued professional development and training to stay current with industry advancements
