The Senior Project/Program Management role is responsible for managing projects and successfully delivering Odessa’s solutions and services to our client base. The role involves building strong working relationships with both internal and external clients, team members and key stake holders.

This critical role drives organisational success and ensures the achievement of client goals. As a Senior Project/Program Manager, you will facilitate cross-functional collaboration to mitigate risk, maximise profitability, and help optimise operational efficiency.

- Own the end-to-end implementation and delivery of Odessa’s solutions to the end client
- Be responsible for all key client deliverables providing guidance around scope, timeline, budgets and quality
- Follow a proven project methodology but also show an aptitude for thinking outside the square and adapting to change and the unexpected
- Guide projects to completion by facilitating team productivity, managing client expectations, and providing a layer of communication between teams and stakeholders
- Support Delivery team leadership by managing risk, establishing process and delivery guidelines and managing project level P&Ls;
- Lead the evolution of Odessa's Program Management capability by establishing best practices, standards and metrics




- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business or equivalent or professional experience within the finance and/or accounting domains
- Qualification or relevant experience with Project Management Methodologies
- 5+ years of senior level program or delivery management experience
- 5+ years of leading a team in successful delivery of implementation and major financial software delivery projects in an Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall environment
- Experience working in the delivery of complex business applications, preferably in the Banking and Financial Services domain
- Knowledge of and curiosity about technology and its impact on design solutions
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving workplace
- Advanced understanding of project accounting, with the ability to cost estimate a large range of project types, and to track and meet budgets

Preferred qualifications:

- Data-driven, metrics-based approach to problem solving
- Experience working in a product-based IT company and/or banking and financial services company
- Demonstrable skills and experience in mediation, negotiation, presentation, and conflict resolution
