Our state government client is seeking a Senior Advisor to manage and improve processes, systems and data capabilities related to the funding, usage and payment of electricity supply charges. This role supports the safe, reliable and efficient operation of large-scale transport infrastructure under a centralised electricity supply arrangement.

You will work across business, finance and technical teams, using data-driven insights to improve transparency, accuracy and efficiency in managing electricity assets and payments.

Key responsibilities

- Review, document and analyse current processes, and define target operating state processes in line with organisational standards
- Develop and implement database and reporting solutions to support data-driven decision-making
- Manage budget allocation and ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of electricity supply payments
- Maintain accurate records of electricity assets and usage across transport infrastructure
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports on electricity costs and consumption to support operational and strategic decisions
- Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance transparency
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including electricity retailers, to ensure accurate and timely payments

Highly desirable criteria

- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and process documentation within complex operational environments
- Strong capability in data analysis and reporting,



particularly using Power BI and PowerPivot
- Experience managing budgets, payments and financial reconciliation processes
- Experience working with utilities, electricity, energy or infrastructure-related services
- Experience working within a state or federal government environment
- Exposure to asset management systems or infrastructure-related datasets
- Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders
