One of Australia's leading Federal Government organisations is seeking an experiencedSenior Project Officerto support the successful delivery of key projects and programs. The successful candidate will join a high-performing team responsible for project coordination, governance and reporting activities, while working closely with a broad range of stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity offering an initial12-month contract with extension options up to 24 months.

The successfulSenior Project Officerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Managing and coordinating project activities, schedules and deliverables in line with established project management frameworks.
- Preparing project documentation, including reports, executive briefs, business cases and status updates.
- Monitoring project risks, issues, budgets and expenditure, while supporting procurement and contract management activities.




- Developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships to support successful project outcomes.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to project governance, quality assurance and reporting processes.

The successfulSenior Project Officerwill have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated experience supporting and delivering projects within structured project and program management frameworks.
- Strong project planning, reporting and coordination skills, including the development of project schedules and governance documentation.
- Proven ability to identify, manage and report on project risks, issues, dependencies and outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills across diverse groups.
- Experience providing specialist advice, conducting research and analysis, and contributing to quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.
