Direct Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Roofing Trade Assistant to join an established commercial roofing contractor working across South East Queensland.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced tradespeople on a variety of commercial projects, where quality workmanship, safety and teamwork are genuinely valued. What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside qualified roofers, you'll assist with a range of commercial roofing projects, including:

- Assisting with commercial metal roofing installations
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Preparing materials and work areas
- Supporting qualified tradespeople on site
- Working safely at heights
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
- Contributing to a productive and safety-focused team environment

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. You'll be someone who can think ahead, stay busy on site and take initiative rather than waiting to be told every next step.

- Previous roofing experience (commercial or residential), or experience as a Trade Assistant




- Confidence using hand and power tools
- White Card
- Working at Heights Ticket preferred, but not essential. If you don't currently hold one, we may be able to assist eligible candidates to obtain it.
- Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Painting or waterproofing experience will be highly regarded but isn't essential.

You'll meet each morning at the Eagle Farm depot before travelling to site, with typical hours of 6:00am to approximately 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
