Health Policy & Management — AI Content Specialist

About The Role

Your public health expertise is in demand — not in a clinic or government office, but at the frontier of AI development. We're looking for Masters in Public Health (MPH) professionals to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models on health policy, epidemiology, and evidence-based medicine. Your knowledge directly shapes how millions of people receive health information through AI.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working with Alignerr — a company partnered with the world's leading AI research labs.

- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote (Worldwide)
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

- Design Complex Health Scenarios — Create advanced public health challenges involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and statistical interpretation of clinical trials to test AI reasoning
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and current guidelines (CDC, WHO, and beyond)
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, and adherence to ethical standards — flagging misinformation and logical gaps
- Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured feedback that helps models distinguish correlation from causation, communicate risk accurately, and serve diverse populations equitably

Required

- Masters in Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or a closely related graduate degree
- Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
- Ability to translate complex health data into clear, actionable, and culturally sensitive written content
- High attention to detail when checking statistical significance, data citations, and health intervention logic
- No prior AI experience required — we'll provide everything you need to get started

Nice To Have

- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordination
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
- Background in health communication, clinical research, or public health surveillance

Why Join Us

- Meaningful Impact — Your expertise directly improves how AI handles life-affecting health information for users worldwide
- Work on Your Terms — Fully remote and asynchronous; set your own schedule within a 10–40 hour weekly range
- Top-Tier AI Access — Engage directly with industry-leading large language models at the cutting edge of AI development
- Contractor Autonomy — High agency, flexibility, and the freedom to work from anywhere in the world
- Ongoing Opportunities — Robust performers are considered for continued and expanded contract engagements
