Job Description of Tableau + Cognos Developer in Sydney / Brisbane : Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Interact with Business users and understanding their requirements.
- Developing, Designing, and supporting interactive Tableau Dashboard reports.
- Recommending Dashboards as per Tableau visualization features.
- Delivering reports to Business team in timely manner.
- Extensive experience working with Business Intelligence data visualization tools with specialization in Tableau.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases like SQL Server.
- Prepare documentations and specifications.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Must have worked in Agile environment.
- Must have intermediate level Excel knowledge.
- Be a self-motivator that has an end-to-end skill set, with a solid technical background as well as customer-centric approach.
- Knowledge of Tableau Server for scheduling extract refresh and user access management.
- Present Tableau Dashboards and reports to stakeholders across all levels.
- Excellent documentation skills for maintaining version history of Tableau Reports and all the business logic built in the Reports.
- Build and maintain a wide array of Tableau Reports to support various business functions for KPI Reporting and Insights.
- Reviewing, streamlining, and automating the existing suite of Tableau Dashboards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Analytics, Engineering, IT, Computer Science or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Tableau.
- Good in communication.
- Background in Business Intelligence and data visualization tools with Tableau specialization.
