Lead Electrician - North East Victoria Operations

About the Role

Luminosity Projects is looking for an experienced Lead Electrician to take ownership of our North East Victoria operations, based in Wangaratta.

You'll be responsible for leading a variety of residential, commercial and solar/battery projects throughout the region while managing the day-to-day coordination of jobs on site. You'll have the support of our management team behind you, with the responsibility of organising your workload, leading your team and delivering projects to the high standard Luminosity Projects is known for.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead residential, commercial and solar/battery projects from start to finish.
- Plan and organise your day-to-day workload to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Lead and mentor your team, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
- Install, maintain and repair residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Complete solar PV, battery storage and EV charger installations.
- Carry out switchboard upgrades, lighting, power and data installations.
- Conduct testing, commissioning and fault finding.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and project documentation.
- Liaise professionally with homeowners,



builders, suppliers and commercial clients.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate job records and communicate project progress with management.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys responsibility and wants to be part of building something bigger.

You'll ideally have:

- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Experience leading a team or supervising apprentices.
- Solar installation experience highly regarded.
- CEC Accreditation highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience with battery storage and EV charging desirable.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
- White Card.
- Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates well and genuinely cares about the quality of their work.
