- Assist with the firm's ISQM 1 requirements.
- Consult with engagement teams to ensure compliance with auditing standards and firm methodology.
- Manage audit engagements by defining audit strategy and executing it in compliance with our policies and protocols.
- Effectively manage the Audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters.
- Lead and manage fieldwork on clients' sites including liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the Audit process.
- Leverage your expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters.
Requirements
- A degree and/or progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in professional practice roles and delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
- Experience leading the planning,
execution and reporting on audits.
- The ability to develop and maintain robust relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing value added recommendations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management.
- The ability to create a positive learning culture, and coach and counsel junior team members to help them to develop.
Core Competencies
Demonstrates expertise in managing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with ISQM 1 requirements, and applying accounting frameworks such as IFRS. Capable of fostering strong client relationships while leading and mentoring junior team members.
