What you willdo as the Analyst / SeniorAnalyst

You will help deliver key outcomes for the Consumer Data Right(CDR) by analysing complex issues, engaging with stakeholders,supporting regulatory activities, and providing high-qualityadvice.

Key responsibilities:

- Analyse complexissues and data to identify trends, risks and opportunities,and provide evidence-based recommendations.




- Supportaccreditation, compliance and regulatory activities thatcontribute to the effective operation of the Consumer DataRight.
- Build and maintainstakeholder relationships across government, industry and theACCC to support program priorities.
- Preparehigh-quality advice and communications, including reports,briefings, correspondence and presentations for seniordecision-makers.

Aboutyou

In orderto succeed in the role, you will have:

- Sound analytical,judgement and critical thinking skills.
- Well-developedwritten and oral communication skills with the ability toinfluence, persuade and negotiate, as well as communicate inplain language.
- Anability to manage competing priorities and deliver qualityoutcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Asound ability to support productive relationships withstakeholders through collaboration and well-developedinterpersonal skills.
- Awell-developed understanding of the ACCC’s role and functionsand objectives of competition and consumer policy, or theability to gain this knowledge quickly.
- Anunderstanding of the policy goals of the CDR, including how theCDR aims to benefit competition and consumers.

Inaddition, the Senior Analyst (APS6) role will require:

- Demonstratedexperience leading a team and/or projects in a fast-paced andlarge complex people-centred organisation.
- Highly developedresearch, analytical, judgement, strategic and conceptualskills.
- Ability to provideaccurate, impartial, and forthright advice to colleagues andstakeholders.
- Ability tosupervise and support junior team members.
