About the role
This is an incredible opportunity to join Are Media’s passionate Marketing team as a Media Manager. In this role, you’ll lead integrated media campaigns across some of Australia’s most loved lifestyle brands. Based in our lively Sydney office, you’ll be at the heart of innovation, creating multi-channel marketing strategies that connect millions of Australians with inspiring content and experiences. It’s a perfect mix of strategy and creativity, where you’ll work with the latest marketing technologies and collaborate closely with our creative, editorial, and commercial teams to deliver real,
measurable results.
Duties
- Lead the development and execution of integrated media strategies, including planning and buying across digital and traditional channels to maximise ROI.
- Partner with internal teams to grow and engage audiences, driving acquisition, retention, and brand KPIs through performance marketing and first-party data initiatives.
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise campaign performance using analytics tools, A/B testing, and real-time insights.
- Manage budgets efficiently, ensuring spend is optimised and performance is tracked against targets.
Skills and experience
- 5+ years of planning and buying, traditional and digital media, preferably in media, publishing, or lifestyle brands.
- Proven track record managing significant media budgets ($500K+ annually).
- Advanced proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Demonstrated expertise in campaign optimisation, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimisation.
