About the Opportunity
The Production and Maintenance Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of production and maintenance documentation, ensuring records are maintained in line with business, quality, and statutory requirements to support operational efficiency and compliance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative duties within the Production and Maintenance Department
- Order and manage packaging, and consumables necessary for achieving production schedule
- In collaboration with the Production and Maintenance Manager develop and implement documentation required to ensure compliance with corporate and statutory obligations including local procedures
- Assist with stock take and relevant documentation
- Daily report on raw material, packaging consumption, daily Production Efficiency and finished goods variance
- Assist with production planning administration when required, enter, and evaluate production plan in D365
- Complete the required OHSE documentation
- Preform casual employee inductions and assist with managing both permanent and casual timesheets
- Maintain maintenance records, print work orders and schedules in EAM software
- Liaise with relevant departments to achieve production and quality goals
- Comply with all applicable legislative, regulatory, and statutory requirements, and adhere to internal governance frameworks, including company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct, to support organisational accountability and risk management obligations.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administration within a batch manufacturing environment preferable
- Experience with computerised inventory control systems
- Competent with Microsoft Office applications and exposure to MRP, ERP or similar manufacturing software packages preferable
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Developed planning, organising and time management skills
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and capable of developing a healthy and effective team environment where business goals are consistently achieved.
