Will provide business continuity in warehouse environment. You will work alongside APS and uniformed supply chain personnel and will report to an APS 4 position. You will be responsible to carry out general warehouse duties that include conducting transactions in Defence Logistic IT Systems.
There will be a requirement to provide support on Tuesday evenings and occasional weekends in support of the Army Reserve. Remuneration will be in accordance with the Defence Enterprise Agreement.
Previous experience with SAP products is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate must be able to work as part of a dynamic, customer focussed team and have well developed interpersonal skills. The candidate must be flexible in their approach to duties, maintain an excellent work ethic and be able to work with some autonomy. The candidate must also be physically fit and able to maintain a security clearance.
Defence roles cover a diverse range of workplace workplace requirements. These may include physical tasks or working in conditions that are not typical of an office environment. About our Team
Highly functional and cohesive team responsible for the delivery of logistic capability in support of 5th Brigade dependencies located in various locations across NSW. Our team is located in Holsworthy NSW and is currently part of 5 CSSB.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Experience in logistics and supply chain operations within the last 5 years.
- Experience with SAP products especially Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
- Demonstrated experience that include warehousing, distribution, asset management and inventory management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse workforce to achieve a high level of operational outcomes.
- Previous experience working in a team based environment with diverse stakeholders.
Security Clearance
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at “Negative Vetting Level 1”.
