A-Grade electrician - Rental safety checks P/T or F/T

RIC Safety audits is a locally Geelong owned business that completes Safety Audits for rental properties around Geelong, Ballarat, Werribee, Western Suburbs and now due to building our relationships in Melbourne, Specifly the Northern and western corridor.

RIC safety Audits is looking for a new employee to service these new agencies. Most of the work would be within 30-45 minutes travel from this location for the work required, although occational travel to south eastern suburbs will be required. RIC safety audits is continually growing and oppertunities may open up in rural areas that may also require over nigh stays sporadically.

With multiple trust based partnerships with rental agencies across the region our reach is going further and we are continually onboarding more agencies. We are a tight team and believe in working together to get the best results, candidates must be team players, sending Electricians and plumbers to job sites together when practical to avoid nusiance for the renters.

We test and commission rental properties and keep them protected. The work is rewarding knowing that you are keeping homes safe for those who live in them.



Including smoke detector checks and minimum standards reporting and as need going into the Essential service maintenace (ESM) space for commercia properties.

If your a self-motivated A-grade electrician with a can-do attitude, that has pride in their work and make sure that the level of attention to detail is higher than most then we would love to hear from you.

Main duties and requirements

Electrical inspecting, testing and commissioning of rental properties

Inspecting, testing and commissioning of smoke detectors

Minimum standards and ESM checks

Reporting of jobs via online software

Using electrical test equipment and reporting

Drivers Licence

A-Grade (Electrical mechanic Licence) VIC

Experience in testing installation

Whillingness to travel to jobs sites as required
