We are seeking to appoint a Graphic Artist who has product photography skills on a Casual basis 3-4 days a week, including flexibility potentially requiring 5 days for the first couple of months to get through the backlog.
Key Responsibilities
Create and update of product artwork, packaging, labels, and marketing materials.
Manage artwork timelines into ensure projects meet production and launch schedules.
Track multiple artwork projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met. Ensure packaging artwork complies with brand guidelines, product specifications and regulatory requirements.
Maintain version control and approval records for all artwork.
Liaise with customers/suppliers and printers to ensure correct file formats and print readiness.
Maintain, manage and store all filed artwork databases for production use.
Verify artwork accuracy including product information, barcodes, ingredients, legal statements and branding.
Ensure packaging artwork meets regulatory standards and labelling requirements where applicable.
Skill Requirements
Experience designing across a mix of formats such as digital banners, print, POS, sales presentations and packaging.
Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills.
Ability to prepare files accurately for print and digital outputs, including file setup, dimension, bleed, resolution, and export formats.
Ability to work in a team setting and have proficient communication skills.
