About the Role
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) provides high-quality, patient-centred care, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role involves assisting with pre‑and post‑operative care, monitoring patients’ conditions, administering medications (as per scope of practice), and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for recovery.
About You
- Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients, including wound care, mobilisation, and pain management.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of patients before and after surgery.
- Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to the Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications as per scope of practice and hospital policies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Assist with patient education on post‑operative care and discharge planning.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and workplace health and safety standards.
